I'm taking a little trip to a place they call the low country, and I'm excited because I've never been before. One thing I do know, is the weather will be warm, so with all the things I'm hoping to do I'm going to need the right outfits. July is the time for some nice summer sales (even though it's only been summer for a month), but I found some nice simple outfits and some pretty cool deals too.
This wide leg jumpsuit was a great find, at a great price, and I was able to use some rewards on top of that. At first, I was nervous about the length because of my 5’10” height, but it hit me just right, even though I am a girl who prefers my pants to skim the floor a bit. I will stick to flat sandals because of the length, but this jumpsuit will work at any point during this trip.
The city I’m visiting is full of history, so I'm hoping to visit a museum or two as a part of my exploration. These denim shorts and high neck tank are great for a casual day out, and if the weather is a bit on the warmer side, I think the option of the linen shorts and V-neck tank (from my closet) will keep me cool and comfortable for my day out.
I told my husband that I want to put my feet on the beach every day that I can, so a bathing suit was a must. This one-piece sparkle swimmie has a nice full coverage fit and my favorite part is the deep plunge in the back. My simple sarong is just what I need for extra coverage, and it can be adjusted to be worn a different way if I prefer.
While my swimsuit is for my daytime beach fun, I grabbed a simple outfit that will be nice for an evening stroll through the sand. The simple top and cargo pants are lightweight but give me some coverage and warmth if it's a cooler evening. The nice thing about this set, is it can also serve as a swim cover up.
These last two dresses are also for day and evening time. I loved the orange dress (pictured above) when I saw it and ordered it immediately. I'm a fan of the midi length and the fabulous flow to it. This will be nice for shopping in the daytime, and the more fitted dress is what I'm hoping to wear on a nice evening dinner (hopefully on the beach) Some cute heels and a bag will give me everything I need for the night.
Overall, I think I found some great and simple summer outfits that I can’t wait to wear on my trip and throughout the rest of the season. What fun things do you have planned for the remainder of the summer?
