my story

I am a married stay-at-home mom, but fast approaching empty nester. I love to shop, but I’ve learned to do it on a budget. I've been blessed to raise three daughters and had to learn how to do so on a single income. Thrifting and clearance sales were my favorite ways to shop while trying to keep things simple yet trendy for my children. Over time, I developed a routine that helped me save money in multiple areas like clothing and grocery shopping. Now that my children are all grown (except one) I still utilize some of those same techniques and apply them to myself. Even cooking must be simple for me at this stage of life, and quick and easy recipes are where it’s at. You'll find me with lots of clearance deals, but rarely will I pay full price. I’ve learned how to add pieces to my closet that will last, keep me looking good, and not break the bank.  If you want to know how to keep things simple and still look good while doing so, you've come to the right place.
