Sephora Lift and Firm Plumping Day Cream Review: Honest Results After 30 Days

I’m currently working through the second product in my review series, and this past month I tested the Sephora Lift and Firm Plumping Day Cream. I randomly chose to start with facial moisturizers, especially since it’s winter, to see if I noticed any difference in hydration compared to my usual routine.
The Sephora Lift and Firm Day Cream contains peptides and hyaluronic acid, and is intended for daytime use on a dry face and neck. According to product claims, immediate application increases hydration by up to 74% and plumps skin by 83%, while consistent use over 30 days results in smoother skin by up to 29%. I used it daily for an entire month, and here’s what I noticed.
The cream has a gelatin-like consistency when applied to the skin. There is a slight feeling of greasiness at first, but nothing overwhelming. Unlike other products I’ve tried with a similar texture, this one absorbed fairly quickly after application. For the most part, it layered well with my other skincare products, although there were occasional days when I noticed some flaking later on. I can’t say with certainty that the day cream was the cause, but it was something I observed from time to time.

With daily use, my skin felt hydrated and stayed that way for most of the day. Because this is a plumping cream, I paid close attention to fine lines on my forehead and between my eyes. I did notice some immediate softening in those areas; however, by the end of the day, the lines were still visible. I’m not looking to erase anything entirely, but it’s something I was mindful of. I also don’t believe there’s magic in a bottle because our skin is going to age, but a proper and consistent skincare routine simply helps that process feel a little easier.
Overall, I didn’t have any issues with the Sephora Lift and Firm Plumping Day Cream. My 30 day results using the Day Cream were positive. It’s a nice moisturizer to try, and with a $23 price point, I think it’s a good option for anyone beginning to address midlife skin concerns. While I’m still in the middle of testing other products, I’ll absolutely return to finish this one once my reviews are complete.
