I am a simple girl when it comes to beauty products. I've had a skin care routine since I can remember because of what I saw my mother do, and it has stuck with me. As I get older, I truly believe a good, consistent skincare routine is vital. I don't stray away from my routine too much, but when a friend started sharing her unused beauty products for maturing skin, I figured why not give them a try and share my thoughts. That’s how this Inn Beauty Project Extreme Cream review came to be.
So, here we are kicking off a new and simple product review series based on items I’ve been gifted. I like to use a product for about 3 to 4 weeks (sometimes longer) before I can give my honest opinion. I want my reviews to be based on real use. So, this means you may be receiving a simple review about once a month for the next year, or until I use up the products I have. We’ll see how it goes.

Since it's winter, I decided to start with a moisturizer. My standard routine is to cleanse, tone, exfoliate, moisturize and protect. My products are a mix of drug store products along with the Paula’s Choice brand. I chose the Inn Beauty Project Extreme Cream moisturizer to start with, and began using it on December 9th. I used it for a month along with my usual regimen.
Right away, I noticed how light and silky the texture was. I applied it after my serum, and I was impressed by how well it absorbed into my skin. It layered well with my other products, which is a win for me. The current moisturizer I use, is one I received as a sample, and I've been using it for a while. I'm not a huge fan because when it mixes with other products I notice some flaking. I did not have this happen with the Inn Beauty Project Extreme Cream.

This product is marketed as a firming and lifting moisturizer. While those benefits weren’t my main focus, I was more concerned about hydration, and how my skin feels. Because of that, I cannot speak to the firming and lifting claims, but my skin feels hydrated and comfortable. After a month of use, and knowing I will be moving on to try another product, this is one I can definitely see myself coming back to and finishing while watching for some of the additional benefits it mentions. You can grab this moisturizer for about $50 at Sephora but if you know me, you know I would recommend waiting for one of their big sales that pop up a couple times a year.
